In July 2024, SAG-AFTRA, the union representing many voice actors in the entertainment industry in the U.S., announced a strike against gaming companies. Negotiations continue between SAG-AFTRA and the industry, but for the duration of the strike, union members won’t record new voiceovers (VO).

As a consequence of this, the upcoming hero Sweet Troublemaker Girgas will not include any English language voice lines when released on March 18, 2025. Instead, English language voice lines will be recorded once the strike is resolved.

We’re aware this is not ideal, and we understand it’s frustrating to have to wait for a character’s VO, but this approach allows us to adapt to the ongoing strike while continuing to deliver new content. We’re committed to bringing you updated VO with the quality you expect as soon as we can. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience and understanding.
