Greeting Guardians,
I’m Director Robin.
Thank you for reading the first letter.
This week, I would like to share the second letter with you.
About the Recent Update With the update on February 20 (For the global version, March 04), the special options of the Sample Statue of Bravery and Invader Mothership Replica merch have been improved to apply damage to boss monsters regardless of their HP. Simply removing the HP condition could have affected other content, so we carefully made this decision to preserve the original value of the marches. We understand that many Guardians have felt inconvenienced by having to set up two different presets. With this update, we hope you can now set up the Sample Statue of Bravery and Invader Mothership Replica goods more conveniently in both Guild Raid and Dungeon Kingdom Arena! Hero Balancing In future updates, we will buff Oghma (when equipped with the 2nd Exclusive Weapon) and the First Corps Commander to strengthen the Dark-Range build. These adjustments will increase their damage and improve Oghma’s defense reduction debuff duration and Rider Mode duration, which were slightly too short. Once we finalize the appropriate values, we will implement these changes. Additionally, we will gradually update the damage type descriptions (melee/ranged) for certain heroes where needed. Since this process involves translations into Chinese, Japanese, and Global versions, it will be done step by step, and some heroes will be updated in future patches. UI/UX Improvements We are continuously reviewing and implementing UI/UX improvements. We are aware that some Guardians find it inconvenient to press the pause button in Guild Raid Practice Mode to retry a battle. Since the Pause, Settings, and Chat buttons are part of the base UI, removing them only in Guild Raids is quite difficult. Currently, while the mini-map is not an essential element, you can use mini-map touch controls to quickly enter pause mode or retry immediately. Please keep this in mind! We also received feedback that having to enter the Guild Castle to check in daily was tedious, so we improved it for more convenience. However, we understand that some Guardians feel that this change has reduced opportunities for natural interactions with their fellow guild members. Since we focused on enhancing convenience, reverting to the previous method might cause other inconveniences. Instead, we will explore alternative ways to promote communication among guild members while maintaining the current system. Additionally, the next update will include UI improvements such as: - Mission Navigation Bar updates - Heavenhold Lobby UI adjustments - Refinement of Rift guides and layout UI/UX improvements will not be limited to this update but will continue in the next and subsequent updates as well. We are carefully considering ways to make the game more convenient for everyone, but we also recognize that it may be difficult to satisfy 100% of all Guardians' expectations. However, we are committed to listening to your feedback and continuously improving the experience. Even the smallest suggestions are welcome—please feel free to share them with us! We will carefully review your feedback and incorporate improvements whenever possible. |
This letter includes the topics we’ve been reflecting on and want to discuss with Guardians this week.
We will continue working hard on development and look forward to sharing our third letter next week.
