Hello golfers, this is BIRDIE SHOT’s development team.

We are very grateful to everyone who have participated in the 1st Season of BORA Cup. It is all thanks to you that we were able to come so far.

We’d like to share our thoughts on the current state of the Masters/BORA Cup Mode, along with upcoming changes to the game that reflect these thoughts.

BORA Cup was originally planned as a short-term event mode with the central purpose of creating hype for BIRDIE SHOT and attracting a large number of new players in a limited amount of time.

Looking back at the results of Season 1’s three rounds, we reached the conclusion that BORA Cup needs a new direction that takes into account the current market situation and the game’s present service conditions -- we are planning to keep BORA Cup as a part of the game for a longer time instead of concluding it as a short-term event, although this would mean that the prize pool for each round would have to be spread out.

Therefore, the following changes are going to be applied starting from the next BORA Cup round :

• BORA Cup will be held every 1st week and Masters mode will be held every 3rd week of each month, instead of following the current weekly schedule.
• Players will need to commit some Balls as an initial participation fee before each BORA Cup round starts. The amount of Balls required will be calculated based on BORA prices 7 days prior to the BORA Cup opening day. 
• Each BORA Cup round will start only if the number of players who committed the above-mentioned participation fee reaches a set threshold.
• If this threshold is not reached, the participation fee Balls will be returned to each player and the regular Masters Mode will start instead of a BORA Cup round.
• Instead of ending with the 3rd round of Season 3, BORA Cup will continue to be a part of BIRDIE SHOT for a longer time (rounds will be renamed in the following way : "BORA Cup 2023 July Round" instead of "BORA CUP Season 2 Round 1", and so on). The prize pool for each round will be adjusted accordingly.

Please note that it is possible that Masters Mode / BORA Cup may undergo additional changes in future updates if such changes are deemed necessary. Please check the official announcements to stay informed about upcoming updates.

These changes are currently planned to be applied starting from the last week of June.
