Greetings, Saviors.
This is Kim Cheol Hui, the chief director of Eversoul.

Celebrating the International Day of Families in May, we hope all Savior's families are filled with Happiness and joy.
Today, I'm going to introduce the upcoming updates we have prepared.

We have been checking the index and feedback of the Strive System after the 4/24 update,
and prepared measures as follows
The next Strive System's themed Soul will be Aki, and will be updated at 5/22.
As so, a few improvements will be applied.

We intended to provide a new battle experience by setting the Theme Soul as a mandatory Soul for the Team to make new party combinations in the Strive System.
But this resulted in bad experiences due to the strategy limitations and troubles in handling enemies.
To improve these problems, we are lifting the restraint of the mandatory use of the Theme Soul.
But if so, the Intention of the content design will not match, which was to make new strategic parties with the Theme Soul.
As a result, additional ATK, DEF, HP Buffs and exclusive effects will be added to the Theme Soul.
The examples of effects provided to Theme Souls per Class will be as follows: please be advised that this can be adjusted before applying.
Following the example, We would like you to enjoy the challenge of taking on higher stages by setting up a team using the Buffed up Theme Soul,
or with your other powerful Souls that are stronger.
We have received a lot of feedback that the ranking rewards of the Strive System are lacking compared to the massive effort it requires.
After reviewing the ranking rewards once again, we agree that the rewards do not adequately reflect the effort put in, and that the ranking tiers lack sufficient granularity. As such, we will be making the further improvements.
The number of reward tiers will be expanded from the current 10 to 17, and the amount of Everstones and Mana Crystals awarded to higher-ranking groups will also be increased.
The Tower of Origin was originally designed to provide Saviors with both the story of the Souls' Origins and the journey to uncover them.
However, due to irregular updates, there have been issues such as level discrepancies between artifacts and delays in reward distribution.
To address these issues, we are preparing the following adjustments.
▶ Adjustments
- The current Tower of Origin will be categorized as the "Old Tower of Origin".
- The newly released Tower of Origin will be categorized as the "New Tower of Origin".
- The New Tower of Origin will be changed from a「4-story + 60-floor battle」format to a「4-story + 1-floor battle」format. (As a result, the Tower of Origin will now serve solely as content for story delivery.)
- The New Tower of Origin will no longer feature the "First to attack" system, and the clear reward will be changed to 1 Statue object of the corresponding Origin Soul.
- The maximum level of all Artifacts will be increased by 5, regardless of the type of the Tower of Origin.
- The New Tower of Origin will not provide individual floor clear rewards. Instead, the clear rewards that were previously given in the original Tower of Origin will be moved to the Strive system as additional clear rewards. (We will ensure that reward acquisition does not become more difficult than before.)
- Therefore, separate from the release of the New Tower of Origin, rewards will now be distributed on a regular basis through the periodically run Strive System.
We will begin by first implementing individual rewards within the Strive system. Then, once the New Tower of Origin is released, the existing Tower of Origin will be categorized as the "Old Tower of Origin".
In the previous Q2 update roadmap broadcast, we shared our plans to improve the World Raid, and have been working hard to prepare for it.
However, removing the Sub-Partner Souls, which was the core system of the current World Raid, will take a bit more time.
Therefore, to reduce the continued inconvenience to our Saviors, we plan to first implement improvements that can be made ahead.
▶ Removal of the Condition System
Starting with the Lighthouse Keeper on May 22, the Condition system will be removed from World Bosses.
▶ Improvement of Certain Boss Mechanics
Bosses’ powerful mechanics have been redesigned to allow strategic counterplay.
Successfully breaking these patterns will temporarily weaken the boss, enabling players to unleash high burst damage using Soul main skills and by restoring Ultimate gauges.
However, contrary to our original intent, failing to counter these mechanics often resulted in unreasonable party wipes,
and the need to interrupt the natural flow of gameplay to respond to these mechanics became a source of frustration.
As a result, we are preparing improvements to patterns that have been perceived as unfair,
and would like to briefly share the direction of these changes.
(Please note that these are still under development and may be subject to change upon implementation.)
The pattern improvements will be applied starting with Behemoth on June 12, and the Lighthouse Keeper will be updated sequentially afterward.
A detailed schedule will be announced separately.
We’ve concluded that the current supply-demand balance for Mana Dust is not functioning as intended.
We believe the only viable solution is to adjust the Overclock system balance.

As such, we’re preparing to change Overclock costs from solely Mana Crystals to a mix of Mana Dust + Mana Crystals.
When this adjustment is implemented, all Overclocks will be reset for all Saviors
and any resources previously consumed for Overclocking will be fully refunded via in-game mail.
To prevent significant losses in growth due to this change,
we also plan to adjust the overall cost values required for Overclocking, ensuring fairness for everyone.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused during this balance adjustment process,
and we will do our utmost to provide a better gameplay experience moving forward.
However, since reapplying Overclock levels one by one would be inconvenient, we are currently preparing a batch level-up feature.
In addition, we're working on a few quality-of-life improvements, such as allowing players to gift items to Souls even if they are not preferred gifts, and adjusting the notification for the Iridescent Scenic Instance to appear at 50% accumulation instead of the previous 100% threshold.

These two improvements are scheduled to be implemented in the May 8 update.
That's all we have prepared for today.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday, and with that, I’ll take my leave.
Lastly, please look forward to the new Soul 「Renee (Argent)」, launching on May 8, as well as her side story event.
While we've already revealed Renee's illustration previously, today, we'd like to give you an early look at the adorable Weiss costume illustration.

Thank you.
