Today, we would like to update you on the bug fix related to Soul friend that was hotfixed on February 24.
After that, we will disclose the information regarding the upcoming Flower Update on March 9.
Hire Soul Bug Follow-up
As previously announced on February 24, a bug that allowed you to repeatedly hire Soul from friends was discovered. We have researched the users who took advantage of this bug.
After the research, we found that clearing the stage is only achievable when your own 4 Souls are fully grown, excluding hired Souls from your friends and there were not enough cases where players needed to be banned.
However, we are continuing with our research and may take action in the future if we detect any exploited cases with this bug.
We apologize for the inconvenience you may experience while proceeding with Hire Soul as well as other inconveniences.
We would like to send 2,100 Everstones as compensation.
You can claim this until March 7, 2023 from your in-game mailbox.
Flower Event Update Introduction
We will share details for Flower Event - Spring Blooming in Your Heart - on the Event Notice,
And for now we would like to update you more about the other contents and revisions.
The contents below may change when the actual update is applied. You will be able to see the final reflection details on the Update Notice.
Town
Overall revisions have been performed on Town based on the feedback shared from our Saviors (the bug fixes have not been noted here.)
The charge motion in town will be changed to a Roll motion to allow you to move easily and freely around your town.
You will be utilizing this Roll motion and attack motion to enjoy the new mini game prepared for the Flower Event "Dangerous Fayren Forest! '' (tentative title) to the fullest.
ㅇ It will be revised so that players can now pass through the empty spaces between buildings placed in Town.
ㅇ The castle wall located at the 6 o'clock position will disappear momentarily if player character approach it.
ㅇ New animations when selecting, releasing, and exchanging Souls at a Soul's residence will be added.
ㅇ The Charge motion will be changed to a Roll motion. If you roll and hit a wall, you will not stop but bounce back and continue to roll in a certain direction. Unlike charging from before, rolling can continue without Cooltime.
ㅇ From the Part-Time Job window, a new button where you can check the part-time job skills of the Souls will be added and the UI will be improved.
The Part-Time Job window before only showed stats related to the part-time jobs.
The rest window showed up to 3 stats only. Therefore, we made the necessary changes to revise these inconveniences.
ㅇ The zoom in/zoom out action in camera will not occur when placing Tiles and other objects consecutively, and the speed of placing the objects will be improved. (You won't feel so dizzy anymore).
ㅇ The Observe button will be added to the object management screen. Press this button to hide the object management UI.
Bond System
There was some feedback that the penalty regarding the Affection system is a bit harsh. We will alleviate the Affection system penalty as follows.
(Affection system is also related to the Flower Event's Mini game "Dangerous Fayren Forest!")
ㅇ Daily decrease of Affection system penalty will be changed from 100 → 50.
ㅇ The affection points you gain after the Affection system unlocks ranging from daily conversation, Gifting, Lost Item quests, and Outing will double.
Friend / Guild
It was a pity that there were no rewards for renting out your Souls to your friends under Hire Soul.
Therefore, we will assign additional rewards to be given for when your Soul is rented out to a friend.
ㅇ Receive 1 Heart as a reward every time your friend Hires your Soul. (Obtain at max 20 Hearts per day)
ㅇ You can press and hold the portrait of the friend's Soul you would like to hire under Hire Soul to check the details of the Soul.
ㅇ "Weekly Contribution" will be added to the Guild. The "Guild Contribution" from before will now be called "Accumulated Contribution."
Before, there was only accumulated contribution from your Guild so it was not possible to track the activity of a newly-joined player who newly-joined a guild.
Therefore, the weekly contribution system will be added to revise this.
Soul
There were some comments that the reset cooldown for Release Shop is too long. In order to improve upon this, the reset time for Release Shop will change from the previous 1 month to 1 week.
Moreover, we will add the new feature that allow you to release an Origin +5 Soul born of Epic grade,
as we have received feedback that there was no clear way to utilize such Soul when you Summon and obtain the same Soul again.
ㅇ Reset frequency of the Release Shop will be changed. (1 month → 1 week)
- From one week after you update to the latest patch.
ㅇ A higher-grade Soul release will now be available through the Release Soul menu.
- You will be able to use this new feature to release Epic Souls born with Epic and Epic+ grades.
- You can release only the Souls that have reached Origin +5.
ㅇ The left tab on the Soulpedia menu will be changed from Grade to Type.
- You will still be able to filter by Grade from a new filter button to be added to the bottom of the screen.
ㅇ You will be able to set the Role and Stats from the Soul's List, Soulpedia, and Battle Formation placement screen.
ㅇ The max amount of Souls you can own will increase from 200 → 300.
Story
ㅇ Catherine and Miriam's Love Story will be added. Reach True Ending and have a chance to obtain special costumes of Catherine and Miriam.
We have been hearing that there was not enough chemistry with the Souls you have reached True Ending under Lover Story with.
In order to improve this case, we are under the process of revising Love Stories that have been released before as well as undisclosed Love Stories.
(As for Velanna, we have only applied slight revisions to the story content.)
However, there are voice recordings (in Korean only) for Love Stories that need to be newly-done, so please understand that the revision will take some time.
In addition, we have scrapped the Main Story Chapter 5 that was created before and started building this from scratch to provide a better storyline.
Please understand that the Main Story update could take longer than expected because of this.
Content
With this upcoming Flower update, we will expand Battlefront area 18, 300 stages for Unlimited Gate, 150 stages for Type Gate and in addition we will also reveal the following new contents.
ㅇ Champions Arena will be added.
ㅇ Guild Raid will be added.
Guild Raid that was planned for the March 2nd update has been postponed to March 9th.
"We apologize once again for postponing the release schedule of Guild Raid, and we also acknowledge the feedback from Saviors that the game does not have enough content to play.
We are considering once again regard adjusting Guild Raid schedule."
However, this has not been confirmed yet so we will also try take other factors in consideration and confirm the schedule.
In addition, we will also be giving out 100 Hearts everyday for a series of 8 days from March 1st to March 8th
for Saviors who are experiencing a lack of content while playing games as compensation gift for the Guild Raid schedule postpone.
You can claim the reward in your mail box within 24 hours after its distribution.
ㅇ Arena Coin will be added to the Weekly Ranking Rewards.
We have noticed that some of you did not have enough Arena Coins to purchase items in the Arena Shop.
With the addition of Champions Arena, there will be an increase in the supply of Arena Coin,
other than that we will also give out more Arena Coin via Arena Weekly Reward.
Upcoming Further Update
Next we want to give you a heads up about contents that are currently under development, but will not be applied yet in the Flower Update on March 9th.
Dimensional Labyrinth <Retry>
When you cannot proceed anymore due to choosing too difficult levels or choosing the wrong level in the Labyrinth.
The <Retry> function will be added for this purpose.
If you use the Retry function, you will get to return to the beginning of the current level so you can change the difficulty level or choose again from the start.
However, in order to apply this new function, you have to change from receiving the items right away after win a match or open a treasure box to
saving the items you earned first then you will get it at once after you clear this stage, or you give up, or you reset the labyrinth.
Dimensional Labyrinth <Hidden Stage>
Currently, there are some Saviors complaining that Dimensional Labyrinth is too easy.
Therefore, in order to resolve this issue, we prepared a Hidden Stage for Dimensional Labyrinth.
earn keys in the level of difficulty of each stage, if you clear 3 stages in the state of owning 3 keys, you can enter the Hidden Stage.
In the Hidden Stage, you will fight with the Giant Boss that you can meet in Guild Raid to earn more rewards.
Resting Slot Expansion
We have seen comments that there are not enough Rest Slots to help Souls recover their energy.
In order to resolve this issue, we are preparing to offer a <Resort Ticket> that will be available for purchase at a chance in Town Shop.
If you purchase this Resort Ticket, additional Rest Slots will immediately be expanded at a maximum of 10 additional slots.
We are also working on a Resort View for you to watch your Souls who are resting in the commercial district of the Town,
however, due to the development schedule, <Resort Ticket> will be opened for sale first.
In addition, we are also working on various new contents such as Tower Origin (tentative term) or hard modes in battlefront stages in which you will be able to discover the origin and the background story of your Souls.
However, we cannot disclose any details at the moment, next time we will update more details once we are ready.
We'd like to thank all Saviors for the continuous love and support for Eversoul and this will motivate us to continue developing and improving our game.
Meanwhile, we also apologize that we cannot attend to all the feedback from the Saviors in a timely manner.
